We are thrilled to introduce Jessica Cafaro (Montanaro), MSN, RN as our 2024 RNS Conference Keynote Speaker. Jessica is a true beacon of hope and resilience! With over two decades of critical care and education experience, Jessica has shined through the darkest times, inspiring nurses and advanced practice providers to lead with courage and compassion.

Jessica Cafaro (Montanaro), MSN, RN, embodies the epitome of dedication and expertise in critical care nursing and education. With over two decades of experience, her journey has been marked by leadership, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
Jessica's academic background, including a master's degree in nursing education, underscores her dedication to advancing the field. Her focus on leadership, critical thinking, teaching, and public speaking reflects her multifaceted approach to nursing education and practice.
Her tenure as the Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator (clinical leader) in a busy New York City Medical-Surgical Trauma ICU demonstrates her ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining a focus on quality patient care. Her transition to Open Heart at Bellevue Hospital showcases her versatility and willingness to take on new challenges in pursuit of professional growth and excellence.
Jessica's contributions extend beyond the bedside, as evidenced by her role as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College. Her passion for teaching shines through as she imparts knowledge and instills essential skills in the next generation of nurses.
Moreover, Jessica's commitment to advancing nursing knowledge is evident in her scholarly contributions, including co-authoring abstracts and a notable article on prone positioning protocol for patients with ARDS during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her willingness to share expertise through interviews, presentations, and podcasts underscores her dedication to improving patient outcomes and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.

The Rheumatology Nurses Society (RNS) invites you to submit your latest rheumatology research, scholarship, practice change, and/or quality improvement projects in an abstract format for the chance to display and present your poster at the 2024 17th Annual RNS Conference, July 17-20, at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to showcase and present your research

If the abstract is selected to present, the lead author will receive a complimentary registration for the Conference and one night complimentary at the Grande Lakes Orlando event hotel.
